Interpreting

Our interpreters transmit communication verbally from a source language into a target language. This process entails far more than speaking two languages fluently. The style and tone of the speaker are communicated, while taking into account differences of culture, dialect, and setting. Listeners will hear the interpreted message as if it had been originally spoken in their own language. Most of our interpreters work bi-directionally and, in addition to understanding the source language very well, also communicate near perfectly in the target language. Our interpreters specialize in a wide range of subject areas including but not limited to law, medicine, business, banking, technology, science, and literature displaying an in-depth knowledge of the subject and the respective terminology in both the source and target languages

The modes of interpreting we provide include:

Simultaneous interpreting: Our interpreters listen and comprehend in the source language while "simultaneously" providing an interpretation in the target language.

Consecutive interpreting: Our interpreters hear several complete sentences in the source language before the speaker stops to allow them to provide an interpretation in the target language.

Sight translation: Our sight interpreters read a text silently in the source language and render the translation verbally in the target language.

Remote interpreting: Delivered via telecommunications software includes:

• Video-Remote-Interpreting (VRI): Enhances the ability of the interpreter to see the other parties involved in the conversation thereby ensuring that there is no room for miscommunication.

• Remote Simultaneous Interpreting (RSI): Commonly used during virtual presentations, webinars, and any other time one person is addressing a group of people without interruption.

• Remote Consecutive Interpreting (RCI): Commonly used during virtual business meetings, negotiations, legal interviews and doctor’s appointments.
